报告摘要：We briefly review the origin and development of parametric finite element methods for surface evolution under geometric flow, and then report some recent progress on the construction of new algorithms to improve the mesh quality of the approximate surfaces, as well as the development of new analysis to prove the convergence of the numerical approximations.
